Q: Tell us about your practice.
A: My practice includes environmental law and civil litigation where I take on anything from complex commercial disputes, employment litigation, and anything else that could go to trial.
Q: Why did you want to work at Crary Huff Law Firm?
A: I grew up in Siouxland and have loved this place my whole life. I wanted to serve clients here in Sioux City, and Crary Huff gave me the opportunity to build a meaningful practice.
Q: What do you love most about being an attorney?
A: The variety of the work - every client and every case is different. I love the challenge of mastering something new every day.
Q: Favorite legal TV show?
A: My favorite legal TV show is the episode of the Office when Michael Scott gets deposed. The Office is my favorite show, and the deposition episode is one of the more realistic media depictions of the legal profession. I love the idea of deposing Michael Scott.
Q: What accomplishment are you most proud of?
A: My amazing wife gave birth to my first son in March 2023, and I have never been prouder of anything. It is a little weird to call my family an “accomplishment,” but nothing matches the pride I feel for the people I go home to every night.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I love to read, hike, hunt, fish, kayak, run or do anything else outside. If I weren’t an attorney, my dream job would be a wildland firefighter.
