Q: Tell us about your practice.
A: I work with corporate entities and on merger and acquisition matters. I appreciate the chance it gives me to get to know my clients and work towards a mutual goal.
Q: What got you interested in being an attorney?
A: When I was an English major in college, I was hired as a part-time legal assistant. My experience as a legal assistant introduced me to the legal environment and the opportunities that a career as an attorney can provide. After graduation, I went straight to law school.
Q: What drew you to Crary Huff?
A: I was eager to be part of an interactive team that provides a high level of legal services to the community. As a young attorney, I have an entire firm of mentors who are willing to sit and listen and help in any way. On any given day, there’s a handful of people who are popping in to ask about a project or just check in. The mentorship at Crary Huff has been really helpful both personally and professionally.
Q: Who do you admire at the firm?
A: I work closely with Laura Schmitt. She’s taken me under her wing and has been an exceptional mentor.
Q: What do you do in your free time?
A: My husband and I enjoy spending time outdoors. We love biking, golfing, and running. We also like to visit a local brewery now and then.
Q: What was your first job?
A: From the time I could talk, I was down in my grandparents’ small family bakery helping out with anything I could manage. I worked the register, frosted cookies, and delivered wedding cakes. I would even go in at 4:30 in the morning sometimes to help Grandpa bake whatever he was making that day. It was a great place to grow up.
