Q: Tell us about your practice.
A: I represent families who are planning for the future, and I also represent family members and professionals in charge of administering estates and trusts. My job is to provide clients with a thorough and customized estate plan, and down the road, I am there to make sure their wishes are honored.
Q: What attracted you to Crary Huff?
A: I grew up in Sioux City and started my legal career here. I had been familiar with the Firm for a long time, and I knew it was a growing firm with an excellent reputation. I was previously working as in-house counsel, but I made the switch because I missed the day-to-day of working with clients to solve problems.
Q: What’s something everyone should know about estate planning?
A: It’s something everyone should do, regardless of their wealth. Everyone benefits from planning ahead. It makes things easier for the people they care about most.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I enjoy fishing and watching a good football game. I enjoy spending time with my kids in whatever activities they are interested in.
Q: What’s the biggest fish you've ever caught?
A: In June 2022, I reeled in a 24” northern pike on Big Spirit Lake. I threw it back, but it was certainly the largest fish I ever caught.
