Q: Tell us about your practice.
A: I’m on the firm’s litigation team. I represent plaintiffs and defendants in commercial and business litigation, property disputes, personal injury, collections, employment discrimination, and more. I’m also experienced as a trial attorney, which is becoming more and more rare these days.
Q: What made you choose litigation?
A: I have wanted to be a trial attorney since college after participating in mock trial. I have always had an interest in acting--I excelled in my high school’s speech club, earning All-State honors in acting. Becoming a trial attorney was the perfect fit.
Q: Do you have a favorite Sioux City tradition?
A: My family likes to go to the railroad museum, especially around the holidays.
Q: What’s your favorite legal drama?
A: I really liked “A Few Good Men.” That courtroom scene—“you can't handle the truth!” is great. It’s a great example of how a hostile witness can sometimes help prove your client’s case.
