Q: Tell us about your practice.
A: I’m on the transactional team where I focus on commercial and agricultural real estate transactions, I.R.C. § 1031 exchanges, business transactions, including the purchase and sale of businesses, general business law, and entity formation. I’m highly communicative and strive to get clients the best results in the most efficient way possible.
Q: What inspired you to become an attorney?
A: I studied business administration at Briar Cliff University, and I always wanted to be involved in the business world. The law was my access point. I really enjoy working with local businesses and seeing the positive impact they make in our community.
Q: Do you have any memorable experiences from your time in law school?
A: I was the managing editor of the South Dakota Law Review, where my article on pregnancy discrimination in the workplace was published. I was also a member of the trial team where we competed against nationally-ranked advocacy programs.
Q: What led you to Crary Huff?
A: The culture and the people. At Crary Huff, we work together to ensure the best outcomes for our clients. It's a very team-driven atmosphere.
Q: What are your interests outside of work?
A: I love to travel. When I’m not at work you’ll find me planning my next trip, spending time with my family and friends, or playing volleyball.
