Summer Associate Program

Our Summer Associate Program provides law students the opportunity to obtain real practice experience during the summer.

Our summer associates are given hands-on experience from attorneys in a variety of practice areas. Projects include legal research and writing, attending court hearings and trials, observing depositions, and participation in client meetings. The summer associate is assigned a mentor who provides regular feedback and helps identify areas of strength and areas of growth.

Outside the office, the summer associate participates in various social activities to develop relationships throughout the firm. This provides an opportunity for the firm and the summer associate to evaluate the potential fit for long-term employment.

At the conclusion of the summer an evaluation is provided and a discussion occurs to determine mutual interest, often leading to an employment offer pending graduation and successful passing of the bar exam. Several current and former Crary Huff attorneys completed the Summer Associate Program.
